Diners, Drive-ins and Dives: An All-American Road Trip . . . with Recipes! (Food Network) Editorial Review:

Food Network star Guy Fieri takes you on a tour of America's most colorful diners, drive-ins, and dives in this tie-in to his enormously popular television show, complete with recipes, photos, and memorabilia.

Packed with Guy's iconic personality, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives follows his hot-rod trips around the country, mapping out the best places most of us have never heard of. From digging in at legendary burger joint the Squeeze Inn in Sacramento, California, baking Peanut Pie from Virginia Diner in Wakefield, Virginia, or kicking back with Pete's "Rubbed and Almost Fried" Turkey Sandwich from Panini Pete's in Fairhope, Alabama, Guy showcases the amazing personalities, fascinating stories, and outrageously good food offered by these American treasures.

Customer Reviews:
Diners, Drive-ins and Dives: An all American Road Trip
Well, we expected to see more of the fantastic items Guy presents to us on his tv show. While there are recipes from some of the shows, the recipe's in the book we found to be kinda' "ho-hum".

My Father loves this book
I bought this book for my Father for a Christmas present. He travels in his motorhome and has mentioned he would love to stop at some of the diners that were on the show. So I bought him the book and a large atlas and marked the diners locations on the map so now he knows in advance if he will be traveling near one of the diners and can plan his visits ahead of time.

Good buy
This is a good book if you love Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and really want to try the recipes you see on television. It also has great stories behind the places Guy visits.

Love it
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it and has already made one of the recipes. YUMMY!!
