Customer Reviews:
decent
This is the only "pricey" earbuds I own. they are very comfortable and ideal for gym use. the behind the ear design and the very short cord combined with an armband makes this the ultimate gym going buds.
as for sound quality they are decent but not great.
Great Headphones
I have owned these headphones for 5 years and not had a seconds trouble.
If people are having trouble with the durability of these they must be abusing them. I have just ordered another pair because one day I'm sure I will need them.
Best Headphones for my iPod
Use these for bike riding, long flights - you name it. I love the sound quality provided by these headphones. They are durable and rugged and have lasted me for quite a few years. One note you may want to consider here is that the replaceable ear buds come off easy. TOO easy. They have the tendency to fall off in your book bag, wife's purse, pocket etc and are easily lost. If you lose them - good luck getting another set. I was able to get another set after losing one of the medium sized earbuds. I super-glued them on and have not had a problem in about 3 years now. Still work just as great as the day I bought them!
Not worth the money
These head phones sound great, the trebles are great, and the bass from them is unbelievable. Unfortunately these are great sounding head phones that are not worth the money. I have now had 3 sets that have all had the same issue. Either the left or the right side will lose sound. This has happened 3 times in a row, Sony warrantied the 2nd set after 2 months, and is now refusing to warranty the current set.
Not worth the trouble you will have.
Sound is great, reliability is crap
The sound quality of these headphones is great. Bass is deeper than you would expect. The reliability is terrible. I went through three sets of these headphones in less than 6 months, each time the left earphone went out. I would recommend the Sennheiser CX300 instead.
